My name is John Thompson, and I am the creator, founder, and artistic mind behind those blogs. This is an Australian blogging site focusing on news about science, politics, and local and global education. In short – your perfect daily source of information!
Before I moved to Southern Australia, more specific Adelaide Hills, I grew up in the highlands of Canada. From a young age, I was fascinated by the nature around me, which resulted in my love for science and all sorts of experiments. This fascination grew into a passion, and together with my love for writing, it became the core of my modern work. After graduating from high school, I worked as a nature guide in various National Parks in Canada and the US. There I learned a lot about the climate, the animal kingdom, various plants and how everything is connected with each other – truly a unique experience.
In August of 2016, I quit my full-time job to pursue writing full-time. What was once a hobby resulted in this new blog which aims to inform a wide and broad audience about everything which moves our world – including modern science, politics, and education. I found those fields the most interesting – and I hope you will find great information about them by reading my blogs.
In January 2018, I created my new vision for life, the modern world, science, and it is already coming true along with my big and broad hopes to create a long-term sustainable world. A world for me, a world for us, and a world for our children.
Driven by my strongest desire to obtain what most value so highly but really only few achieve – ultimate happiness – I have spent the last several years writing like crazy, making the same mistakes most new usually bloggers do, and learning a lot of hard lessons before I developed the blueprint to building a thriving modern online blog and my dream global lifestyle. Originally from Canada, I have travelled to more than seventy countries to date and visited five continents, which gave me plenty of inspiration and ideas for my new blogs. Travelling has always been my passion, and by travelling you truly get an idea of how big our planet really is.
